This article illustrates what I mean about "secondary" traffic impact of the tollway on the local roads of the county. I am extremely concerned that the project is lacking in the critical data necesarry to fully assess the impacts the Suncoast 2 will have on Citrus County.

Based on which scientific data or valid projections can it be said that the Suncoast 2 will NOT attract this type of growth along the feeder roads to the Suncoast 2, hence causing more traffic congestions for Citrus County, the way it did in New Port Richey? Have there been traffic studies on this type of secondary impacts and how much it will cost Citrus County to solve the subsequent traffic problems along those feeder corridors? Do our County Commissioners have any idea on how much money Citrus will have to spend to improve its local roads to accommodate the toll road?

As the attached map of closed-depressions shows, the Brooksville Ridge is a critical recharge area for the Floridan Aquifer. Is it a good idea to attract as much development as possible on top of one of the most sensitive and powerful area of recharge for drinking water in the entire state of Florida? These depressions are key components in what drives our first magnitude springs.

What will it do to Citrus County's eco-tourism industry if the springs become polluted because of all the development that is attracted alongside the Suncoast 2? Who will pay for the clean up? How will it affect our local economy and our job base if the springs are polluted? Have these impacts been studied and projected in enough in detail to help our County Commissioners make informed decisions about how this tollroad will affect our taxes and our quality of life? Are these studies included in the PD&E?

What, exactly are ALL the costs Citrus County will bear into the future as the result (primary and secondary) of the Suncoast 2? including:

- feeder road improvements
- cost projections for building bridges across the tollway if Citrus needs more east/west thoroughfares (how much extra would it be above building a normal east/west road without having to span the Suncoast 2?)
- projection of pollution into the closed depressions directly from the tollroad, and indirectly from the attraction of development along the tollroad onto the Brooksville Ridge
- risk to the eco-tourism industry of Citrus should the impacts on the springs from pollution into the closed depressions be high

I look forward to your comments and the documentation requested on this issue. Thank you for your time and attention.
