Let me correct two inaccurate statements you have made.

1) The $200 million you have quoted was a preliminary construction estimate if a decision was made to build the road. The cost of the PD&E Study is significantly less and being paid for by Turnpike toll revenue dollars.

2) The Turnpike has not asked the FHWA for any funding for this project.

You are correct that no traffic analyses have been completed but as I have stated to you on numerous occasions, the need for the project will be documented before the Environmental Impact Statement is finalized.
