Two Citrus property owners want a judge to clarify his decision in the latest legal battle over Suncoast Parkway 2. A recent order from Leon County Circuit Judge Terry Lewis was ambiguous, attorney Ross Burnaman wrote in a motion filed Monday. Lewis said in the order that DOT officials "made a good faith effort" to comply with the terms of a legal agreement. Burnaman, who represents property owners Teddi Bierly and Bobby Roscow, asked Lewis to hold another hearing in the case or change his order to fully address allegations that the Florida Department of Transportation breached the terms of a legal agreement. The agreement came after Bierly and Roscow sued the DOT to open meetings in which representatives from government agencies discussed the possible toll road extension. A judge sided with Bierly and Roscow in August 2004, prompting the mediation agreement.
